For our Australian customers GST is added and calculated on the checkout page.

I have another question!

We'd love to answer it! Get in touch at hello@self-made.studio

What is this exactly?

It's a course designed to help you plan your new website. Because creating a website can already feel like a big, overwhelming undertaking, we've broken down the step-by-step process we use to plan and build websites in our own branding and web design studio, Baker Creative. You'll learn the strategic process behind creating a stand out website, so instead of copying what everyone else in your industry is doing, you can make educated decisions about what will work for your business and your audience.

What if I'm not happy with my purchase?

If you decide to join us, you’ll be introduced to our formula for planning your new website, and any other websites you create in the future. We know this training has the potential to not only change the way you think about your website build, but transform the profitability of your website and your business.

But, maybe you’re on the fence because other resources or trainings have left you disappointed or skeptical. That’s we’re giving you the opportunity to dig in and test-drive the Complete Website Launch Plan for 21 days. That's 21 days to take action, complete the exercises, watch the videos, scope out the resources and plan your new website.

If, after 21 days you haven't been able to plan your website and don't feel more confident in building your new online home, you deserve your money back— and we’ll give it to you.

All you have to do is reach out to hello@self-made.studio, show us you’ve put in the work, and we’ll refund your investment pronto! Learn more about our refund policy here.

What is Self—Made?

Self-Made is a hub where you can find templates, tools and resources to build your own brand from the ground up. We believe that if you want to build the kind of brand that creates change, it needs to begin with you. If you want to learn how to own your voice, visuals & strategy, this is the place to do it.

What currency is your shop in?

All prices are in United States Dollars (USD) and are inclusive of GST. If you are outside of Australia, you will not be charged GST.

How do I download the files?

After you’ve made your purchase, you’ll see a link to download your purchased items on the confirmation page. You will also receive the same link in your email. The files will be available in a zip folder. Please unzip the files using a program such as WinZip, Z-Zip or Archive Utility. Once you've downloaded the files, save them somewhere safe on your computer or cloud. If you have any questions about your purchase, please get in touch at support@self-made.studio.

How will I know which program I need to edit my design?

On the page for each product, we list out the programs that can be used to open and edit the designs. If you're ever unsure, you can always ask us at support@bakercreativedesign.com

What is your refund policy?

As our products are digitally distributed, unfortunately we don’t offer refunds after you make your purchase. Please make sure you review the product descriptions and software requirements before you make your purchase.

If you are having trouble with your software, we recommend reaching out to Adobe or Canva directly. If you believe there is something is missing from your product or is not as described, please let us know at support@bakercreativedesign.com.

What if I need some extra help?

We’ve got you covered with step-by-step video tutorials that you’ll gain access to following purchase. We include options to use a few different design programs, and recommend using the software that you are most familiar with. If you have never used design software before, we suggest using Canva.

Our video tutorials should be enough to get you started, but if you need help beyond these, you can find Canva tutorials here, Photoshop tutorials here and InDesign tutorials here.

Please note that our products are intended for DIYers, and as such, you’ll need to spend some time getting familiar with the software to get the best results. For one-on-one support and design assistance it may be best to work directly with a designer.

How much does Webflow cost?

It's free to create a Webflow account and customise and build your site. If you're happy to launch on a ".webflow.io" domain, hosting is free. But you'll need to pay for hosting if you want to connect your own branded domain name (which is most people's preference). You'll find Webflow's latest site plan pricing on their website. Coming soon pages are a perfect fit for the 'Basic' plan and you can pay month to month if you choose until you're ready to launch a bigger site.

Will I need Canva Free or Canva Pro?

All of our templates can be edited with either the free or paid versions of Canva, however not all fonts (even free fonts) are available in the free version of Canva.

All of our naked templates can be used with the free version of Canva.

If you're purchasing a pre-designed theme, please check the Canva compatibility for your chosen theme (you'll find it next to the theme description on the product page).

If you have any questions about fonts and compatibility before you buy, please feel free to get in touch at support@self-made.studio

Can I resell your design templates?

You may modify and sell our templates as an end product (e.g. a paid ebook), but not as a template. Please view our Product Licence for more information about what you can and cannot do with our templates.

How do I access the Canva templates?

You’ll receive a 'Canva Handbook' PDF with your purchase. This includes direct links to all the included templates, as well as a walkthrough video showing you where to find these links.

Can I use another program to edit my designs instead?

Unfortunately not, we’ve created these products to be compatible with select Adobe software and/or Canva software, so you won’t be able to open and edit it with another program. Please refer to the product page to determine the software and versions you’ll need to edit your designs.

What are Photoshop, InDesign and Canva and how do I access to them?

Adobe Photoshop and InDesign are professional design programs that allow you to create and edit designs. You can download a free trial of either or both programs here or purchase a subscription via the Adobe website here.

Canva is an online web and mobile application which you can use to create and edit graphics. You can create a free Canva account online here. Canva’s basic software is free to use, while some of their more advanced features (including the use of some fonts) require a paid subscription.

If you are new to design software, like with anything new, you’ll need to learn the basics of the software and how to use it. While InDesign and Photoshop are robust in their features, many people who are new to design find Canva faster to pick up and easier to use.

Both programs will allow you to customise our design templates however you like, so choose the software you feel most comfortable with!

Are the photos included in the design templates?

Yep, if you've purchased one of our pre-designed themes (Bellevue, Camwell or Bedford), we'll supply you with the royalty free images as well as a list of where to find the original stock photos. Our naked templates don't include any photos, as they're ready for you to add your own!

Are the fonts included in the design templates?

We can't legally redistribute fonts, so you won't receive the font files, but we will always provide the online links to where you can download all the fonts we've used.

We use a lot of free fonts, but sometimes we'll find a great premium font that better suits the design. If that's the case, we'll include links to where you can purchase the paid fonts, and suggest some free alternatives too, so you can decide which option best suits your brand.
