We can't legally redistribute fonts, so you won't receive the font files, but we will always provide the online links to where you can download all the fonts we've used.
We use a lot of free fonts, but sometimes we'll find a great premium font that better suits the design. If that's the case, we'll include links to where you can purchase the paid fonts, and suggest some free alternatives too, so you can decide which option best suits your brand.
You may modify and sell our templates as an end product (e.g. a paid ebook), but not as a template. Please view our Product Licence for more information about what you can and cannot do with our templates.
After you’ve made your purchase, you’ll see a link to download your purchased items on the confirmation page. You will also receive the same link in your email. The files will be available in a zip folder. Please unzip the files using a program such as WinZip, Z-Zip or Archive Utility. Once you've downloaded the files, save them somewhere safe on your computer or cloud. If you have any questions about your purchase, please get in touch at support@self-made.studio.
You’ll receive a 'Canva Handbook' PDF with your purchase. This includes direct links to all the included templates, as well as a walkthrough video showing you where to find these links.
Adobe Photoshop and InDesign are professional design programs that allow you to create and edit designs. You can download a free trial of either or both programs here or purchase a subscription via the Adobe website here.
Canva is an online web and mobile application which you can use to create and edit graphics. You can create a free Canva account online here. Canva’s basic software is free to use, while some of their more advanced features (including the use of some fonts) require a paid subscription.
If you are new to design software, like with anything new, you’ll need to learn the basics of the software and how to use it. While InDesign and Photoshop are robust in their features, many people who are new to design find Canva faster to pick up and easier to use.
Both programs will allow you to customise our design templates however you like, so choose the software you feel most comfortable with!
All of our templates can be edited with either the free or paid versions of Canva, however not all fonts (even free fonts) are available in the free version of Canva.
All of our naked templates can be used with the free version of Canva.
If you're purchasing a pre-designed theme, please check the Canva compatibility for your chosen theme (you'll find it next to the theme description on the product page).
If you have any questions about fonts and compatibility before you buy, please feel free to get in touch at support@self-made.studio
